Netflix is sharing that Teyana Taylor, Sasha Calle, Catalina Sandino Moreno and Néstor Carbonell have joined the ensemble cast of the upcoming Netflix crime thriller RIP starring Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, with director Joe Carnahan. The film has not yet been given a release date.
Netflix posted on social media: “Matt Damon and @BenAffleck’s new crime thriller RIP welcomes Teyana Taylor and Sasha Calle to the cast. Here are more details“
The plot of RIP “follows a group of Miami cops whose trust begins to fray after they discover millions in cash in a derelict stash house. As outside forces learn about the size of the seizure, everything is called into question — including who they can rely on.” Carnahan also wrote the script, with Affleck, Damon, Luciana Damon and Dani Bernfeld producing for Artists Equity.
Damon and Affleck launched Artists Equity in November 2022 and released the company’s first film, Air, in spring 2023. Artists Equity also produced the documentary The Greatest Love Story Never Told, and Small Things Like These, which opened this year’s Berlin Film Festival and won the Silver Bear for supporting actress Emily Watson.
